Design My E-Commerce Catalog
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m launching a new online store and need a clean, modern e-commerce site whose main job is to showcase my products in an intuitive catalog. High-quality visuals, clear categorisation, responsive layouts and fast load times are critical so customers can browse effortlessly on desktop and mobile.
Core requirement
• A fully functional product catalog that allows me to add, edit and organise items with images, variants and descriptions.
While I haven’t selected a shopping cart or payment gateway for phase one, please build with growth in mind so these modules can slot in later without rewriting the whole site. If you normally work in Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a custom React/Node stack, let me know which route you recommend and why.
Deliverables
• Pixel-perfect front-end design (Figma/Adobe XD or equivalent)
• CMS or admin area for product management
• Responsive implementation, tested across major browsers and devices
• Basic SEO structure (clean URLs, meta tags, schema ready)
• Hand-off documentation and a quick walkthrough video so I can manage the catalog myself
Acceptance criteria
1. I can add a new product, assign it to a category and have it display instantly on the live site.
2. Site scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed for both mobile and desktop.
3. All pages pass W3C validation and display correctly on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Timeline is flexible but I’d like first design drafts within a week of kickoff. Share a couple of live e-commerce catalogs you’ve built and tell me which tech stack you believe suits a small-to-medium product range. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner.
