Customize Astra Author Portfolio Site

I’m launching a three-page WordPress site for my fiction brand using the Astra “Illustrator Portfolio” starter template. You’ll need your own access to this theme so you can jump straight into customizing the existing homepage layout I’ve sketched out.

Here’s what I need done:

• Replace the current hero image with an embedded YouTube video player that inherits the section’s full-width styling.
• Swap the portfolio/service cards for featured book covers (fiction titles). Each cover should link directly to its respective Amazon product page and maintain the hover effects already baked into the template.
• Apply my supplied color palette, logo lock-up, and typography choices site-wide so the look is cohesive across all three pages.
• Make sure every tweak remains responsive, loads quickly, and plays nicely with Astra’s Customizer settings so I can adjust copy later without touching code.
• Deliver a short hand-off note that explains any added CSS, custom hooks, or recommended plugins.

All media assets, copy, and brand guidelines are ready to drop in—just need your Astra expertise to stitch it together.
