Custom Modern Wedding Landing Page

I need a single-screen wedding landing page built completely from scratch—no off-the-shelf themes or page builders. The look should be modern and minimalist: generous white space, crisp typography, and a clean colour palette that lets our photos take centre stage.

Core content and features I want live on day one:

– Scrollable photo gallery (lightbox preferred)
– Subtle, looping video background that plays smoothly on desktop and falls back gracefully on mobile

Beyond that, the page must load fast, respond perfectly on phones and tablets, and be easy for me to update later via well-commented HTML/CSS/JS. Smooth scrolling navigation, and cross-browser consistency are expected.
