I want a web designer who can translate my vision of a timeless, classic-looking blog into a fully functional website. The site should evoke the feel of a traditional print publication—clear typographic hierarchy, balanced white space, elegant serif headings—yet load quickly and resize gracefully on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A complete, responsive layout: homepage, post template, archive/category views, and an about page.
• A cohesive style guide covering fonts, colour palette, and spacing so I can keep future updates consistent.
• Build on WordPress, Ghost, or a similarly user-friendly CMS that lets me publish articles without touching code (WordPress is ideal, but I’m open if you have a better suggestion).
• Light on animations; focus on readability and a calm, refined aesthetic.
• Basic on-page SEO setup—semantic heading structure, meta tags plugged in, and clean URLs.
• Final hand-off package: export of theme or child theme files, any custom graphics, and a short video or document showing me how to update content.
