Church WordPress Design Refresh

I run a church website on WordPress (hosted with Hostinger) and it needs a visual lift as well as some functional polish. The goal is to make every page feel welcoming and modern so visitors immediately sense the spirit and activities of our congregation.

Key changes I need:
• A clean, subscription form that lets people sign up for our weekly bulletin. Feel free to use WPForms, Mailchimp for WP, or any comparable plugin as long as it integrates smoothly with our theme.
• Strong visual appeal through high-quality images, short engaging videos, and an interactive slider on the home page to highlight upcoming events and sermons.
• General layout edits—fonts, color harmony, spacing—so the whole site looks consistent and professional on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Basic optimisation: compress media, tidy unused plugins, and ensure pages load quickly despite the richer visuals.

Acceptance criteria
1. Subscription form submits to our mailing list and shows a success message without page reload.
2. Slider is fully responsive and editable from the WordPress dashboard.
3. Images and videos display crisply without noticeably slowing page speed (ideally 90+ on Google PageSpeed for mobile).
4. No broken links or layout shifts once changes are applied.

Access to the Hostinger panel and current WordPress admin will be provided as soon as we agree on the approach.
