Children's Book Website Revamp

Summary
Hello. I am a children's book author and publisher with seven children's books!

Project Details:

I have a WordPress website hosted on Hostinger. It has not been updated in two years. I need help with several things:

1. Full Visual Makeover that is colorful, engaging, and highlights both education and fun for early learners and parents.

· Modern, clean redesign (layout, colors, typography, spacing) that brings the pages to life.
· Fully mobile responsive (works perfectly on phones and tablets)
· Keep my existing content but improve the presentation. (Please feel free to share your ideas and creativity)

2. "Flipping" Visitor Counter (Visual Effect Only)

· I want a number displayed on my site (example: 250,000+ visitors)
· I want the number to have a visual flipping/counting-up animation when someone lands on the page (like an odometer effect)
· You will set the initial starting number (e.g., 250,000)
· After the project is complete, I will update the number myself moving forward. I do not want to pay a freelancer each time it needs changing.

Important requirement for the counter:
I am not advanced with WordPress. Please build the counter so that I can update the number myself in under 30 seconds without touching code (using a simple settings field, a short code I can edit, or a page builder widget). Please show me once (written instructions or a short video) how to do this.

3. Content Updates

· Add new photos, images, and videos (provided by me)
· Place them on specific pages based on my simple instructions

4. Two of the seven books were created for a different organization that I partnered with. I would like to add the book images to my portfolio website. The books will be displayed with images and descriptions, but I am not selling them directly. I need 'Buy Now or Purchase' buttons that link out to their website organization for check out.

What I do NOT need: for the 'Flipping Visitor Counter'

· I do not need a real-time tracker that counts every page reload.
· I do not need Google Analytics displayed publicly

Who I am looking for:
You must have proven, hands-on experience in ALL of the following:

· Website creation
· Website updates and maintenance
· Website makeovers and redesigns
· WordPress (plugins, pages, media, basic settings)
· Mobile responsiveness
· Any other technical skills needed to complete this work properly

Please share examples of WordPress makeovers you have completed (before/after preferred).

Budget & Timeline:

· Makeover + counter + content upload: Fixed price – please quote me
· Timeline: 3–4 weeks
