Chanj Nonprofit Website Design & Launch
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Chanj is a nonprofit movement creating self-sustaining schools where students learn, earn, and live. We’re building a system that replaces charity with opportunity, starting in the Caribbean. This project is the launch of our website, which will serve as the public face of the movement and the foundation for everything we build next. The focus is design, impact, and trust. We want a clean, modern, and cinematic site that introduces the mission and gives visitors ways to participate.
The most important part is the landing page. It should open with a smooth world map animation that highlights the Caribbean and other target regions, showing where our programs will begin and expand. As the visitor scrolls, they should see our mission statement, key programs, and live impact trackers displaying how many schools and students we work with, and how much income students have generated. These numbers can start as placeholder data and connect to live updates later.
Donations are a core feature. The site needs a working donation section with Stripe integration, a visual goal bar that fills as money comes in, and simple breakdowns showing where funds go. A merch page is also required, allowing visitors to buy Chanj apparel and, later, products made by students. The sponsor section should list business supporters and include a short form for new partners who want to get involved. All of this should sit within a design that feels global, inspiring, and trustworthy.
We’re starting with the essentials: the animated landing page, donation tracker, live counters, merch page, and sponsor section. Everything else, school dashboards, advanced data, events, and community features, will come later as the platform grows. The site should be built in a scalable way using modern tools like Next.js, Framer Motion, and Stripe, but design quality and visual storytelling matter more than technical complexity. I want the landing experience to feel alive, clean, and intentional, like something between Apple and a purpose-driven organization.
If you’re a designer or developer who can bring strong visuals, smooth motion, and technical reliability together, this is a long-term project. The first milestone is to get the landing experience right, world-class, credible, and functional. Everything else will build on that.
My wants/needs are flexible as well, animation isn't a necessary, but I want the design as nice as possible for this.
Budget Flexible but ideally: $1,500
