I need a clean, engaging site that gives equal stage to my published and upcoming books as well as my original artwork. The homepage should immediately direct visitors to two main areas: “Books” and “Artwork,” each with its own visual identity yet sharing a cohesive overall style.
For the Books section, the catalogue must handle both e-books and printed editions. Every e-book page needs a secure download button that appears after purchase or free sign-up, plus a user-review area so readers can leave feedback. Printed titles can link to external purchase channels for now, but the layout should make it easy to add an in-house checkout later.
The Artwork section should function as a gallery: high-resolution images, zoom capability, short descriptions, and a simple inquiry or buy-a-print option. Smooth navigation and responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile are essential.
Preferred platform is WordPress (or another equally user-friendly CMS), with basic SEO configuration, fast load times, and page-speed scores of 85+ on both desktop and mobile. Once the visual style is signed off, I’ll need the live site, source files, and a concise hand-over guide so I can update content on my own.
