Blog Revamp & SEO Boost

Job ID: 40054728

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

My long-running blog needs a complete refresh so it can compete more effectively in search results. The redesign must modernise the overall look and feel, streamline navigation, and improve readability on both desktop and mobile. While updating the visuals, I also want the core content tightened up—headings optimised, internal links cleaned, and outdated articles either revised or redirected.

Beyond appearance and copy, several functional tweaks are required. Page-load speed should be brought below the two-second mark, broken features repaired, and any unnecessary plugins or scripts removed. Clean code, schema markup, and a solid internal link structure are essential foundations for the SEO work that follows.

The overarching goal is higher search-engine ranking. This calls for on-page optimisation (titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, keyword placement), a well-defined XML sitemap, and best-practice technical fixes such as improving Core Web Vitals, eliminating duplicate content, and ensuring secure, properly indexed pages.

Deliverables:
• Fresh, responsive design rolled out site-wide
• Updated or re-written content with stronger keyword alignment
• Enhanced functionality: faster load times, fixed navigation, improved search and share features
• On-page and technical SEO implementation aimed at immediate ranking improvement
• Clear hand-over documentation so I can manage minor edits myself

Completion is confirmed once the redesigned blog is live, passes speed and SEO audits, and shows all key pages indexed correctly in Google Search Console.
