Author Website & Multimedia Blog

I need a clean, mobile-friendly site that handles both showcasing books and writing a blog. Visitors should be able to browse each title, read a short blurb, and click a “Buy Now” button linked to a lightweight e-commerce setup. A simple WooCommerce (or similar) configuration for up to five books, connected to PayPal or Stripe, is enough for launch.

The blog must support multimedia—images, embedded YouTube or Vimeo clips, and basic formatting—so I can share behind-the-scenes updates and book trailers.

Core pages I expect:
• Home with featured book and latest post
• Books catalogue and individual book detail template
• Blog index and post template with image/video embeds
• About / Contact page with a simple form

Deliverables:
• Installed CMS (WordPress preferred) on my hosting
• Customised theme that matches my author brand (fonts, colours, logo placeholder)
• E-commerce plugin configured and tested for one sample product
• Blog ready with one demo multimedia post
• Basic SEO settings (permalinks, meta titles)
• Short hand-off guide so I can add books, posts, and images on my own
