Project Description
I am seeking a developer to build a complete, standalone web application that implements a structured daily workflow system with persistent data storage, media support, and reporting.
This is a full implementation project, not a proof of concept or partial build.
Application Overview
The application guides a user through a defined daily process, captures structured and unstructured data throughout the day, and generates an end-of-day summary.
The system must be reliable, logically sound, and production-ready.
Some of the Required Features
1. Application Flow
Application opens directly into an initial checklist / questionnaire
Multiple sequential sections with navigation controls
Users must complete required sections before proceeding
End-of-day reflection section with summary generation
2. Data Entry & Logs
Ability to create multiple entries per day
Each entry supports:
Structured fields
Free-text notes
Tags or categories
Entries must be editable after creation
3. Media Support
Attach images and short video clips to entries
Media must persist across sessions
Media must be viewable within the application
4. Data Storage & Retrieval
Persistent storage (local database or equivalent)
Ability to browse historical data
Filtering and sorting by date and tags
Export functionality (CSV and PDF at minimum)
5. Reporting
Automatically generate a clean end-of-day report
Report must be exportable as a PDF
Report should include:
Responses from the initial checklist
Logged entries
End-of-day reflections
6. Authentication
Secure login required
Single-user is acceptable, but architecture should not prevent future expansion
Technical Expectations
Custom-coded solution (no no-code platforms)
Clean, maintainable, and well-structured codebase
Desktop-first experience (Windows)
Web-based or desktop-wrapped solution is acceptable
Emphasis on correctness, reliability, and data integrity
Deliverables
Fully working application with all features above implemented
Source code and full ownership
Basic setup instructions for running the application
Ideal Candidate
Experience building full workflow or journaling-style applications

Able to work independently from a written specification
