Reseller SaaS QA and UI Enhancement
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
QA + UI Polish Pass — Reseller SaaS
Budget: $500–$1,500 depending on experience
Timeline: 3–5 days from kickoff
Stack: React + TypeScript + Tailwind + Shadcn/Radix on Cloudflare Workers
Access: Repo, staging URL, and test accounts provided day 1
What Stashovo is
A web app for eBay resellers. Automatic order + fee sync, real per-sale profit, tax-ready reports. About to launch publicly from a private waitlist.
The code is done and shipping. The UI has never had a design pass, and I need a fresh set of eyes to find bugs and rough spots before I open the door.
What I need you to do
Two things, in this order:
1. Break the app on purpose (bug hunt)
Walk through every screen as a new user, then as an existing user, and try to break things:
• Submit forms with empty inputs, invalid inputs, huge inputs, special characters
• Click buttons twice fast, refresh mid-action, navigate away mid-load
• Try flows out of order
• Try mobile, desktop, dark mode, light mode
• Connect eBay, disconnect eBay, reconnect
• Import a CSV, cancel it, retry it
• Publish a listing, delist it, retry
• Anything that returns a 500, a blank screen, a stuck spinner, wrong data, or a confusing error → log it
2. Find the ugly (UI polish)
Look at every screen and flag anything that looks:
• Broken (misaligned, overflowing text, wrapped titles, cut-off content)
• Inconsistent (spacing, font sizes, button styles, icon usage)
• Confusing (unclear labels, missing empty states, dead-end flows)
• Amateur (would embarrass on Reddit / Twitter)
• Wrong copy (references to features that don’t exist or aren’t at launch)
Especially look at:
• Dashboard (main screen after login — recently rewritten, never eyeballed)
• Empty states (new user with no data)
• Onboarding flow (first-run experience)
• Landing page ( /welcome )
• Product tour modal
• Mobile viewports (375px + 390px)
• Dark mode
Deliverables
Day 1: Audit
• Loom video walking through what you found (20–40 min)
• Prioritized list in Google Doc / Notion / Linear, with three tiers:
• P0 — bugs / broken / blocks launch
• P1 — looks amateur, should fix before launch
• P2 — post-launch polish
• Screenshots for each issue
• Rough hour estimate to fix P0 + P1
Days 2–5: Ship the fixes
• PRs against deploy/pricing-features (auto-deploys on merge)
• All P0 items
• As many P1 items as fit in budget
• Small, focused PRs with before/after screenshots
• No feature changes without approval — this is bugs + polish, not a refactor
Out of scope
• New features
• Backend / database / API work
• Redesigning things that just need cleanup
• New dependencies without approval
• Native mobile app
• Marketing site beyond /welcome
How I’ll evaluate applicants
• Portfolio with shipped SaaS or dashboard products (not landing pages)
• Comfortable in React + Tailwind + Radix/Shadcn
• GitHub PR workflow experience
• Bonus: reseller / e-commerce familiarity
To apply, send
1. One paragraph — why you’re a fit
2. Two links to SaaS UIs you’ve shipped or polished
3. Your rate + estimated hours for the scope above
4. Timezone + start date
