Online Beer Game
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
“Beer Game” is a commonly used education tool (actually a game) in the area of supply chain used at business schools around the world. Normally the game is played in the classroom as an offline exercise by using physical paper, pens and tokens.
Despite facilitated intuitive understanding, this is rather inefficient for inexperienced students as it requires some training and practice to set up and run properly. An explanation of the offline version of the game can be found here: https://ctl.mit.edu/sites/ctl.mit.edu/files/attachments/Josue%20-%20Beer%20Game%20Run%20-%20Ex%20Ed%20January%202017%20sub.pdf
In order to take this exercise to the next level, faculty at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Department of Intelligent Operations and Marketing (IOM) have decided to develop an online version, which doesn’t take any effort to set up or manage the bookkeeping for, in the shape of a web application. The web application shall be developed using technologies/languages such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET
, MS SQL Server.
Please note that only freelance Chinese nationals can be hired for this project.
