Minimalistic Web-App for Database Management
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I want a web-app, that can be accessed by 3 users. I have a database with 27,000 entries with my business data information about our clients. The data contains name, surname, address etc. I want the web-app to not have any running costs. I don't want to uze AWS, Azure or anything that makes me pay for clusters or server space. It's important that there are no hidden costs and I want to use free resources.
In short, I want nothing more than a large excel sheet in the background and a nice and minimal interface we can use to quickly search for the people in our database. We are most probably going to use Safari.
App Design:
Simple and minimal
Landing page should be similar to how a search engine is. A simple search bar from where we can start searching.
Privacy is important. Only 3 people will have access to this web-app. So implement some form of login.
Database Conversion:
Convert existing Excel database that I will send with approximately 27,000 entries into the app.
Give us the ability to edit/add/remove information and entries in database
Allow us to download all the data in the app to an excel file
Platform Compatibility:
I want the app to be functionable in browser for an iPhone and desktop.
Data Fields:
Include the following fields: Name, Surname, Locality, Street, House Name/Number and a few more
User Profiles:
Each data entry in the database needs to have a 'profile' with their information.
Profiles should display all relevant data fields and allow for note additions.
Search Functionality:
Enable robust search options:
Search by Name and Surname in a specific locality, a number of localities, or all localities in the database for example.
Search by House Name/Number in a particular street in a specific locality for example.
Search by phone or ID number
Filter by Street.
Filter by Locality.
Notes Feature:
Add a feature to add and store notes for each person.
Ensure notes are searchable.
Data Management:
Allow importing new people into the database from excel sheet
User Interface:
Each person’s profile should have an accessible plus sign (+) to add notes, and then save the note.
The profile display should be clear and intuitive, showing all relevant fields and notes.
