GoDaddy to AWS Migration & Email
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Web application is still sitting on a GoDaddy plan and I’m ready to move everything over to AWS for better performance and control. The work involves three connected tasks:
1. Domain – Transfer the domain and application out of GoDaddy to EC2, set it up in Route 53, and make sure DNS records propagate smoothly with no noticeable downtime.
2. Email – I’d like mail to live on AWS as well using SES or WorkMail I want it running on an EC2 instance. This means provisioning and hardening the server (Postfix/Dovecot or similar), configuring SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and confirming that send/receive works without landing in spam.
Deliverables
• Website live on AWS and reachable through the current domain
• Domain fully managed in Route 53
• EC2-based mail server sending and receiving with SPF/DKIM/DMARC passing
• Short hand-over guide covering instance details, IAM access, backups, and basic scaling steps
Acceptance
The project is done when the site resolves from AWS, email passes common spam checks, and I have IAM access to all related AWS resources.
This is an on-going development position.
