T4S SSO Login for AWC (Siemens Active workspace Client)
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Description: As a policy decision, we use individual user login to SAP from existing Teamcenter RAC. This means every user connects to SAP using a “SAP Connect” command SAP menu within Teamcenter RAC. Only after this the Client session gets connected to SAP and workflows or stylesheets pertaining to T4S are executed.
Current behavior: For example, when user clicks on an Item Revision, then click on "SAP Material Master" page, then a "SAP login window" appears, where user needs to enter SAP credentials and then the AWC session gets connected to SAP.
Expectation: When a user logs into AWC, he/she should be able to connect the AWC session to SAP by click of a custom command.
Technical background: SAP and Teamcenter sessions are configured with SSO login. Hence, the SSO token probably needs to be picked up and transferred to connect to SAP.
