Realistic A3 Watercolor Dog Portrait
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I’m commissioning a detailed, true-to-life watercolor portrait of my dog and would like it completed on A3 paper (11.7 × 16.5 in). I’m drawn to a highly realistic finish rather than a looser, expressive approach, and I’d love the scene to feel as though he’s comfortably set outdoors—think soft greens and natural light behind him instead of a plain studio backdrop.
Here’s how I picture the workflow: after you receive a few clear reference photos, you share a quick pencil layout so we can lock the pose and background balance. Once I approve that sketch, you move on to the final painting with rich, accurate color and crisp detailing around the eyes, fur texture, and nose. When the piece is done, I’ll need a high-resolution scan (300 dpi or better) for digital keepsakes, followed by the original artwork safely packaged for shipping.
Deliverables
• One hand-painted A3 watercolor portrait on quality cotton paper
• High-resolution digital scan (TIFF or high-quality JPEG)
• Securely packaged shipment of the physical artwork
I’ll cover shipping costs and can release milestones at sketch approval and final handover. If you’ve painted realistic animal watercolors before, feel free to share samples—accuracy, color faithfulness, and a clean, professional finish are what matter most to me.
