Water Quality & Hydraulic Modeling
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a seasoned water-treatment professional who can take my raw sampling data and transform it into clear, defensible insights while also mirroring the system hydraulics in a software model. My first priority is a thorough water-quality analysis; I want to see the full picture—chemical, microbial, and physical indicators—presented in a way that links directly to operational decisions.
Alongside the lab work, I would like you to create (or update) a calibrated hydraulic model of the distribution network in EPANET, WaterGEMS, or another recognized platform so we can test scenarios, pressures, and residual decay. I’ll provide recent SCADA exports, plant logs, GIS layers, and any historic lab reports at project start.
Deliverables
• Sampling and testing plan covering locations, frequency, and methods
• Interpreted lab results with charts, tables, and plain-language findings
• Fully functioning hydraulic model file and supporting documentation
• Concise, ranked recommendations that tie quality results to operational or design actions
Acceptance criteria
– Model runs error-free and closes mass-balance within ±2 %
– Lab data referenced to applicable WHO or EPA limits
– Final report readable by non-engineers and immediately actionable
I’m targeting an initial findings draft within two weeks of kickoff, with the full package shortly after. Let me know what additional details you need to get started.
