Seawater RO Plant Design

Job ID: 40245230

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a full technical design package for a seawater reverse-osmosis (SWRO) plant that will supply industrial-grade water at a moderate purity level. Target production is in the 1,000–10,000 m³/day range, and the system must incorporate a pressure exchanger (PX) for energy recovery.

Here is what I expect:

• Process & instrumentation diagram (P&ID) and overall process flow diagram sized for the stated capacity
• Mass and energy balances that clearly show the impact of the PX device and the resulting specific energy consumption
• Equipment sizing and datasheets for high-pressure pumps, membranes, pressure vessels, PX unit, chemical dosing, and post-treatment
• Operating philosophy, start-up/shutdown sequence, and control logic narrative
• Bill of materials with indicative specifications ready for vendor inquiry
• Brief technical memo summarising projected permeate quality, recovery rate, and expected operating costs

Acceptance is based on consistency across all documents, adherence to industrial water quality targets, and demonstration of energy savings through the PX configuration. AutoCAD (or similar) for drawings and any recognised RO design software such as IMSDesign/ROSA/WinFlow are fine; please state the tools you use so I can easily review native files.

Send any clarifying questions early so the design can move forward quickly.
