PWA Social App Prototype

I’m putting together a proof-of-concept Progressive Web App that revolves around user profiles and location awareness. The core of the build is a profile-based social layer where people can discover nearby users. For the discovery experience I only need a clean, fast List view—no map at this stage.

The essentials I need developed:
• Responsive PWA scaffold (React, Vue, Svelte Kit or similar—open to your recommendation)
• Secure user authentication and editable profile pages
• Background location capture that respects permissions and battery constraints
• Real-time “Nearby Users” endpoint plus front-end list that refreshes smoothly as people move around
• Basic settings screen so users can toggle visibility or pause location sharing

Acceptance criteria
1. App installs to home screen and passes Lighthouse PWA checks.
2. User can sign up, edit a profile photo/name/bio and save changes to a cloud datastore.
3. When two test accounts come within the chosen radius they appear in one another’s Nearby list within 10 seconds.
4. Code is handed over in a Git repo with concise README and build instructions.
5. app language must be Arabic

If this first cut works well we can later extend it with feeds, messaging and richer geotagging, but for now I’m laser-focused on the profile + nearby list flow. Let me know which framework you’d use and how quickly you can spin up the MVP.
