I already have a Laravel application in production and I’m ready to take it to the next stage. The immediate scope is two–fold: add several high-priority features and tighten overall performance so the app scales smoothly as usage grows.
Feature work
• User authentication – I need a clean, secure login/registration flow that supports password resets and email verification, built on the standard Laravel auth scaffolding or Laravel Breeze/Jetstream if you prefer.
• API integration – create or extend REST-style endpoints so our mobile client can consume core data. I’ll supply the exact data structures and authentication requirements.
• Admin dashboard – build a concise dashboard (Blade or Vue components are both fine) that surfaces key metrics and offers CRUD management for our main resources.
Performance work
While you add the above, profile the existing codebase, identify slow queries or inefficient service calls, and implement optimisations such as eager-loading, query caching, or queue offloading where appropriate. I value measurable improvements (e.g., response times, memory usage), so please outline what you changed and the impact.
Acceptance
• All new code passes phpunit tests that you write or extend.
• No breaking changes to current user flows.
• Clear, commented commits and a short deployment note summarising the optimisations.
Repo access is on GitHub; development happens via feature branches and Pull Requests. Let me know your estimated turnaround for each deliverable and any questions about the existing architecture so we can get started right away.
