Fix Web Panel Login Error
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
My production web panel suddenly refuses to let any user log in. Each attempt throws a “Server error” message, so the session never even starts. Mobile clients continue to work fine, which tells me the back-end is alive; the fault sits somewhere in the web layer or its API calls.
I need the root cause identified and a clean, tested fix pushed to the live panel. Once your patch is applied I expect the login screen to accept valid credentials, load the dashboard normally, and stop returning that server-side exception.
Tech stack is Node.js with an Express API and a Vue front end, all running behind Nginx on an Ubuntu VPS. You’ll receive repo access and a staging environment the moment we agree on scope.
Acceptance criteria
• “Server error” is eliminated and successful authentication restores full dashboard access.
• No regression in data integrity or other screens.
• A short commit note or README entry summarising what changed and why.
If you’ve debugged similar login or session issues before and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started today.
