Fix Payment Bugs on Trading Site
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My trading platform has hit a snag in its payment processing module: transactions are failing to settle and users see vague error messages the moment they try to pay. Everything else—login, dashboard, order execution—continues to run smoothly, so the problem is clearly confined to the checkout workflow.
The stack: PHP 8.1, Laravel back-end, Vue.js front-end, Stripe as the gateway. I can grant access to both the staging environment and live Stripe logs.
What I need from you:
• Track down the root cause of payments not going through.
• Eliminate or meaningfully handle the current error messages.
• Patch the code, test it in staging, then create a clean pull request.
• Hand over a short report outlining the fix and files touched so I can follow the changes in Git.
A sandbox key, test cards, and production rollback plan are ready. As long as downtime stays near zero, I’m flexible on your exact workflow. Please tell me when you can start and how much time you’ll need for full regression testing.
