Chat App Mobile Fixes (Website App)
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
My real-time chat site looks fine on desktop, but on iPhone 15, 16 and a few other phones the chat interface breaks: panels slip out of view, some buttons refuse to fire, and the overall layout feels cramped. I need someone who lives and breathes React or Vue.js and knows their way around clean, mobile-first HTML/CSS.
Here’s what I’m seeing:
• Layout problems—columns collapse or overflow when the viewport narrows.
• Interactive elements malfunction—emoji picker and send button lose tap focus on narrow screens.
Your task is to refactor the current components so the chat interface behaves perfectly across common breakpoints, starting at 320 px. I expect well-structured media queries (or a utility framework if you can justify it), touch-friendly hit areas, and no new regressions on desktop.
Deliverable: updated source files or a clean pull request, plus a short test log confirming the fixes on iPhone 15/16, at least one older iPhone (~4.7-inch) and a modern Android (Galaxy-class). Once I can open the chat, resize, and interact without glitching, the job is done.
Please note: You will have to sign an NDA to work on this project.
