Vue.js App for open source BikeTag game
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
You:
I am looking for a Vue.js developer who has experience working with webpack and can deliver a fully working vue.js application source code for an open-source project. I have wireframes of what I want to see come to life and I think it's achievable in less than a month. You can see those wireframes here: https://github.com/KenEucker/biketag-vue/files/5793044/BikeTagApp_WireFrames.pdf
Me:
I work on an all-volunteer team for the open-source project BikeTag and I don't have the time/chops to get into Vue.js right now. I want someone to help me by developing a single page Vue.js app that consumes the BikeTag API I have been developing to play the BikeTag game with feature parity of the current app (website).
What:
* Viewing the current BikeTag mystery location with a hint
* Creating a new BikeTag round by uploading one or two images and submitting text
* Submitting a new BikeTag post from queued images
* Viewing the BikeTag Queue
* Viewing BikeTag player tags (BikeDex)
* Viewing how-to and some "about" content
* Viewing an archive of all previous BikeTags
* Viewing a leaderboard of each player with tag count and link to BikeDex
How:
* Vue.js + Sass + webpack project on Github. Vite preferred, and willing to work with generators.
* Develop a single-page application using Vue components to provide the feature set listed above.
* This code must not be attached to any previously licensed work and must be free to be open-sourced.
* This will require that you are set up to run NodeJs on your computer and that you can use git to pull down and make changes to the public repository.
* The deliverables will be pull requests to the public repository on GitHub.
* You will have the option to have the work credited to you or to have the work handed off via zip file to be credited anonymously.
Context:
I have put over 3 years of development and much much more into this project, and you will be the second person I have paid to help me achieve my goals. Everyone else in the project is a volunteer and the project is open source to give credit to anyone involved in improving the project. You would have the option to be considered a contributor alongside the volunteers if you wish, without your paid contract being mentioned.
Notes:
A BikeTag API already exists (TypeScript/JavaScript) for interacting with the database.
You are encouraged to spend time looking into the BikeTag repositoryies on GitHub.
A repository for this project exists: https://github.com/keneucker/biketag-vue.
Previous attempts to get this project started will be abandoned in favor of green code.
If you fork the repository to begin writing code for this project let me know so I can monitor your progress ahead of my decision.
The work required to complete this job may take more than the initial consultancy, which will be handled privately with the person who is assigned this job
