Freelancer Job: Zoho Directory & Vault Setup for Bookkeeping Firm
Team Size: 4 employees
We’re looking for an experienced Zoho Directory and Zoho Vault expert to help us quickly and securely configure these tools to support our remote and office-based team.
Project Goals:
Secure and centralize login access for work tools (Google Workspace, QuickBooks Online, Toast, Clover, PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
Role-based permissions across departments
Enforce multi-factor authentication, IP restrictions, and VPN-only access
Prevent unauthorized app installations and non-work internet access
Create a simple and scalable onboarding/offboarding flow
Manage secure password sharing via Zoho Vault, with full control and audit logs
Your Scope Includes:
Configuration of Zoho Directory:
- Setup of user roles, groups, and departments
- Assign permissions by role
- Enforce 2FA for all users
- Restrict access by IP and device
- Require VPN for access
- Set up SSO for supported apps
- Block access to non-approved apps and websites
Zoho Vault:
- Central password storage and sharing
- Access controls (view, manage, share per user/role)
- Secure storage for software keys and 2FA codes
- Setup of audit trails and login history tracking
Testing & Handoff
Test login/access with at least 2 users
Confirm app-level access and restrictions are working
Document setup and provide a simple SOP/checklist for managing users going forward
Tech Environment:
3 office PCs (outside USA)
2 remote laptops (outside USA)
VPN hosted in USA
Apps include Google Drive, Microsoft Drive, QuickBooks, Toast, Clover, Uber Eats, Stripe, Paymode, AvidXchange, OneBill, LGL, GlossGenius, Grubhub, DoorDash, etc
Ideal Freelancer:
Proven Zoho Directory + Vault setup experience (please include 2–3 examples)

Speaks fluent English and can deliver clear written documentation
