WireGuard VPN Setup on Windows 11 PC
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m trying to set up a WireGuard VPN server on my Windows 11 PC connected to Verizon Fios 1 Gbps home internet.
The VPN works locally, but I’m having issues with port forwarding (UDP 51820) and Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) / NAT configuration.
When I run PowerShell commands like Get-NetNat or New-NetNat, I get errors such as “Invalid class” or “HRESULT 0x80041010”.
Also, the ICS sharing dropdown (to bind Ethernet to the WireGuard adapter) doesn’t always appear.
I need a freelancer who can:
Fix or enable ICS/NAT between Ethernet and the WireGuard adapter
Make sure UDP 51820 is open and accessible externally
Ensure remote clients (phones on LTE) can connect and use my home internet through the VPN
Check any required router or Windows firewall settings

Windows 11 Pro (HP Elite SFF 600 G9, i7-12700, 16 GB RAM)
Verizon Fios 1 Gbps Home Internet
Port 51820 forwarded to local IP 192.168.1.187
WireGuard already installed and configured
