WireGuard VPN Issue on GL.iNet Routers

Hello,
I have two GL.iNet routers:
• one in France (acting as a WireGuard server, behind my ISP router with a fixed public IP),
• and one in Morocco (acting as a WireGuard client).
The client connects successfully to other VPN servers in France, but it cannot connect to my own GL.iNet server in France. The status stays orange and never turns green.
I have configured port forwarding UDP 51820 on my ISP router to the local IP of my GL.iNet server (e.g., 192.168.1.166).
From Morocco, the client times out, and on the GL.iNet server, no logs show that packets arrive.
I’ve tried everything I can find online, including checking IPs, port forwarding, and configuration on both routers.
I need someone who:
• Is experienced with GL.iNet routers and WireGuard VPN
• Can diagnose network/port forwarding issues
• Can help me get a working VPN connection from Morocco to France
Please only respond if you have proven experience with GL.iNet + WireGuard, as I need this working reliably.
