VPN Setup Using Wingate Solution

VPN using Qbik Wingate proxy server from office to home

SOW:
Using Wingate VPN (fully licensed), create an extended network from an offsite home office network (currently in workgroup not on domain) to our company network so all PCs and servers can be accessed just the same if it is on the local network (file shares, printers, etc in both directions). The company network PCs are currently setup to access the internet via Wingate which is fully functional.

Items to know but may not be important:
All company PCs are on a VLAN – but are accessed via Wingate which is on the same VLAN so shouldn’t make a difference.
Wingate is installed on a VM that accesses internet via Edgerouter

Implementation:
It is a simple VPN plug-in so you must check wingate.com to familiarize yourself with the configuration:

If need be, you can install a trial license to test functionality. I understand that this may require multiple attempts to test but I do not want to waste time “experimenting” or extensive testing. Please consider my time is valuable. If need be, I can setup a VM in my home office lab that we can access via TeamViewer while I adjust settings at the office. All work will be completed via TeamViewer Monday – Friday 4pm-6pm or weekends 9am-9pm.
