Unifi Gateway help

I have a Unifi Security Gateway that clients reach through an L2TP VPN from Windows machines. Once the tunnel is up no traffic—internal or internet—passes, so something in the routing / firewall chain is blocking all traffic. In addition, a single port-forward rule that should expose an on-prem service to the outside has stopped working.
Here is what I need:
• Diagnose and repair the L2TP remote-access setup so that Windows users can reach internal resources and browse the web normally while the VPN is active.
• Identify why the existing port-forward rule no longer passes traffic and apply the correct NAT / firewall changes to restore it.
You are free to work via the UniFi Network Controller UI, SSH, or any other tools you prefer, as long as you leave clear notes of what was changed so I can reproduce it later. Once you think the fixes are in place we will run live tests—connecting over the VPN and hitting the forwarded port—to confirm everything is flowing as expected.
