Gaming Network Optimization Agent (ExitLag Alternative)
Description:
We are building a specialized gaming network optimization solution (similar to ExitLag/GearUP Booster) targeting the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. The system will reduce ping, jitter, and packet loss, giving gamers a smoother online experience by routing traffic through optimized paths.
We need an experienced developer/engineer to help design and implement the Agent Application that runs on gamers’ PCs.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop a lightweight Windows Agent that runs in the background.
Intercept and optimize game traffic through custom routing via AWS servers.
Securely tunnel packets using VPN/Proxy technology (WireGuard, OpenVPN, or custom UDP tunnels).
Implement multi-path routing (choose the fastest path in real time).
Add failover logic so if one route is unstable, traffic automatically switches.
Integrate user authentication with our central dashboard.
Ensure low CPU & memory usage for best gaming performance.
Provide logging & monitoring tools to detect latency/jitter per connection.
Optional (Nice to Have):
Experience with AWS Global Accelerator, Transit Gateway, or custom BGP setups.
Prior work in VPN clients, tunneling, or game optimization tools.
Basic UI for users to select their preferred server.
