Configure pfSense Remote VPN

Job ID: 40320138

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I’ve moved our pfSense firewall to a new office and need the Remote Access VPN stood back up quickly so the team can log in from home. The tunnel must rely on certificate-based authentication, using a public CA we already subscribe to—no self-signed or internal CAs this time.

What I expect you to handle:
• Import the public-CA root/intermediate chain into pfSense and generate or import matching server and client certificates.
• Build and tune the Remote Access profile (OpenVPN or IPsec—whichever you recommend for reliability on pfSense).
• Adjust firewall/NAT rules so remote users can reach our VLANs but nothing more.
• Provide one tested sample client bundle (Windows/macOS) and confirm a successful connection end-to-end.
• Supply a brief hand-off note so I can add users or revoke certificates myself later.

Everything will be done through the pfSense GUI over a screen-share session; no shell access is required. Once the above checkpoints work, the job is complete.
