CCTV- RTSP Stream Setup
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are looking for a tech-savvy freelancer to contact our customers and securely collect their CCTV RTSP stream URLs. Most customers simply need remote assistance, so you’ll guide them over Zoom, helping them locate the correct LAN address, port forwarding, and credentials, then copy the full rtsp:// string which will be deployed to our cloud.
For every successful hand-off, record the stream URL and credentials, any RTSP nuances they mention, and note the collection date in a shared spreadsheet. Accuracy and discretion are crucial; all customer data must stay encrypted while in transit and at rest.
A solid grasp of IP cameras, networking, CCTV, VPNs and cyber-security best practices will let you troubleshoot quickly and reassure customers. Prior remote support experience is welcome, but clear, patient communication matters most.
Deliverables (per customer):
• Verified RTSP link with working credentials
• documentation sheet
• Brief note of any special setup steps taken
