Budget: $100,000 – $0 USD
I’m seeking a freelance specialist who lives and breathes technology, with solid experience in network administration. My goal is to keep our small-to-mid-sized infrastructure running smoothly, securely, and with room to grow.
The work will focus on:
• Auditing the current topology (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN endpoints).
• Troubleshooting recurring connectivity or latency issues.
• Hardening security by refining VLANs, ACLs, and firewall rules.
• Documenting every change in a clear, version-controlled format.
• Recommending a maintenance schedule and future scalability plan.
You should be comfortable with Cisco and/or Juniper gear, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, VLAN trunking, VPN configuration, and common monitoring tools such as NetFlow, SNMP, or Zabbix. Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC or Azure VNets) is a plus.
Deliverables I expect:
1. A concise network audit report highlighting pain-points and quick wins.
2. Step-by-step implementation notes for each fix or enhancement.
3. A post-engagement diagram (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar) of the updated layout.
4. A brief handover call or video walkthrough to ensure I can maintain everything.
If this aligns with your skills and you can jump in within the next week, let’s talk details.
