C#/.NET Developer – Fix WebSocket Multi‑Session Bug + IIS Deployment

Project Overview
I have a C#/.NET application that processes SIP-based phone calls, receives RTP audio, and streams it to an ASR (speech-to-text) backend over WebSockets. It also stores call audio and transcripts. The core functionality is working, but there are issues when multiple calls are active at the same time.

Primary Task – WebSocket / Multi‑Session Fix
You will be responsible for:
- Investigating and fixing a bug where:
- Multi-session (2+ concurrent calls) handling is unreliable
- One of the calls intermittently fails with a WebSocket error like:
`An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host`
- Reviewing and, if needed, correcting:
- WebSocket connection lifecycle (connect, keep-alive, close)
- URL/connection pooling logic for multiple simultaneous calls
- Any threading / async / TCP edge cases related to these failures
- Verifying the fix with repeated concurrent-call tests and providing a short technical summary of root cause and changes.
Secondary Task – ASP.NET App on IIS:
- Install and configure an existing ASP.NET ticketing application on IIS (Windows Server).
- Ensure it runs correctly alongside the SIP/ASR service.
- Verify both applications work together as expected
Required Skills
- Strong C# and .NET (framework) experience
- Solid understanding of WebSockets and TCP networking
- Experience debugging intermittent connection issues in production-like environments
- IIS setup, deployment, and basic troubleshooting
- (Nice to have) Any background with Cisco CUCM, VoIP/SIP/RTP or media streaming
