Voiceover Talent
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I’ve started a Podcast called “Noir Confidential” https://noirconfidential.buzzsprout.com to promote my books. Currently, I have one of my older books up if you want to see what I do. I’ve started writing a new book that I thought I would release on the Podcast as I am writing it. There are several possible ways to proceed,
have a voice-actor perform (act, not just read) each chapter as I write them
have a voice-actor perform the scripts and be Podcast Host. You could use the opportunity to promote your voiceover talent by recreating scenes from my books with voices of famous Noir actors, like Bogart, Welles, Greenstreet, Lorre, etc.
This is a promotion so there isn’t any money in it other than an advertising benefit.
I would probably wait till I have a number of chapters voiced before uploading them to the podcast.
