Small script for casual Voiceover of avatar cat for YouTube Content
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
ITFreeTraining is looking for a voice talent to provide a supplement voice for two videos. There are two parts to the job. The first is audio between a technian and and a user. You just need to record the user part. The second is saying the line "It's over 9000".
The audio will be used in the final video with a cartoon avatar of a cat. However, since the cat is an avatar the voice does not have to sound like a cat. Just a regular voice will be fine.
We don't have any particular preference of what we want, that is accent or gender etc. If you can provide a sample of your work we will simply go with someone that we like.
All the audio below can be recorded as a single file. Just have a few seconds break between each so we can separate it later.
The Following is a conversation between a user and a technician you would be required to create. You are only required to record the audio for the user.
Technician: So, what is wrong with the computer?
User: It does not work.
Technician: Has it ever worked?
User: I have had it for just over a year and have not had any problems with it.
User (Sneaky quite voice): I did drop it once, but I am not going to tell them that. Hehehehe
Technician: What are the exact error messages appearing on the screen or coming from the speaker?
User: When I switched it on the screen stayed black. I did not see any errors messages, but I did hear a single beep.
Technician: What changes have been made recently to the system?
User: I have been away for a few weeks on holiday just got back today.
Technician: Do you know of any changes performed by anyone else or tech support?
User: Let me check with Bob.
User: Well Bob’s in the doghouse now. Bob told me they had a computer in the back that had a video card fail. He took the video card from this computer to replace the failed video card. He said it should still work because this computer has built-in video
Technician: Has anything been tried to solve the problem?
User: Naaa, looks like Bob broke it and left it for someone else to fix.
Technician: Can we get the graphics card back to put in the computer?
User: Bob says he needs it so won’t give it back. But, he has gone to lunch so we can use it while he is gone.
Technician: Will on-board video be enough for your needs?
User: Today I’ll just be looking at e-mails so that will be fine. Tomorrow, I will need it however.
For the second part, you are saying the line It’s over 9000. If you are not familiar with the original meme here is a link.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiMHTK15Pik
Do three different takes of the line, saying the line differently. We will choose one to go with. Take one should sound similar to the original meme, but does not have to be exact. Second take say normally and take 3 be as creative as you like.
User take 1: It’s over 9000
User take 2: It’s over 9000
User take 3: It’s over 9000
