Male Voice Actor for Screenplay Quote
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm in need of a male voice actor to read a few lines from a screenplay. The ideal voice for this project is:
- Casual and Conversational: The delivery should not be overly dramatic or serious. It should sound like a normal guy speaking, not a radio announcer.
- American: A clear, standard American accent is what I'm looking for.
Character: Jacob is in his early 30’s, he’s from California and now living in Canada. He’s an ex marine and archery teacher. He’s super fun loving, extremely attractive with a lot of tattoos, edgy, friendly. He’s been single for four years by choice until he meets Tasha who comes for an archery lesson. She captures his heart immediately but as she’s just come out of a marriage and nursing a broken heart he’s trying to gently work his way into dating her. At this point in the script they’ve been out a few times as friends, there is clear chemistry and they’ve had a great time, he wants her to join him for the weekend but he needs to make sure she feels safe and that he’s not pushing to date to quickly. This is a voice text he sends her, the tone should be hopeful, flattering to her, upbeat, and reassuring.
