Female Pop Vocalist for Single Recording -- 2

Job ID: 38107898

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

We are hiring an English-speaking female (she/her) singer (vocalist) for a major Record Label, which is a client of ours. You must be able to speak / sing English fluently for this job. If you have a noticeable accent - this is not for you! The ideal candidate will be from North America (Canada, USA, or Mexico), but may also be from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, or the U.K.

If you sound similar to Gwen Stafani (D3-B6 Mezzo soprano) this may be your chance at fame! A Reggae Fusion artist signed to our client's Record Label is looking for a female Singer (Vocalist) to add vocals to a very No-Doubt-esk sounding horn-driven Reggae Pop song, which will be distributed through Sony Music with a substantial marketing budget.

Requirements: You MUST have the ability to record on your own. Either with a home (bedroom) studio or the ability to rent out a studio. You will be providing us with unedited 48KHz 32-bit WAV stems in raw format (at least 4 files in total). You will be required to layer/over-dub your own vocals and may send us mixed/mastered vocals as well as the raw files for tracking / reference purposes.

Lyrics and a reference of how the vocals should sound will be provided, but you are welcome to make up your own lyrics.

The theme is about a fun Summertime song trying to decide what to do on a Friday evening after work and over the weekend. Similar artists are: No Doubt, Artikal Sound System, HIRIE, and Vana Liya.

The song sounds like a typical "No Doubt" song (we cannot tell you if that is our client or not), but we will share the song after you send us a sample of your previous work. Preference will be given to a singer (vocalist) who has songs available on major DSPs or a new singer with a strong knowledge of layering (overdubbing) her own vocals.
