Words/Phrases Voice Recording Project (Native Arabic (UAE) Speakers Fluent in English)

We are recruiting participants for a Wakeup Words voice recording project to support speech technology and voice recognition research.

Selected participants will record a set of short English phrases following detailed recording and file submission guidelines.

Task Details
Participants will record the following wakeup word phrases:

Hey, Mira
Take a photo
What's this?
Translate the picture
Record a video
Stop recording
Play music
Stop music

Each phrase must be recorded 50 times using different speaking styles and volume levels.

Recording Variations
Normal Speed – Normal Volume (10 samples)
Normal Speed – Loud Volume (10 samples)
Normal Speed – Soft Volume (10 samples)
Fast Speed – Normal Volume (10 samples)
Slow Speed – Normal Volume (10 samples)

Total Deliverables: 400 audio recordings per participant

Requirements
Fluent or native English speaker
Quiet indoor recording environment
Clear pronunciation and consistent speech
Ability to follow detailed recording instructions
Access to a device capable of recording WAV audio files

Quality Expectations

Recordings must contain only the required phrase
No background noise, clicks, echoes, or interruptions
Files must follow the provided naming convention
Recordings must meet all project specifications to be accepted
