Vertical Documentary Explainer Edits

Job ID: 40155641

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m looking for a skilled video editor to produce 60–90 second vertical (9:16) documentary-style explainer videos.

The final video should feel like a concise, professional mini-documentary:
neutral, factual, and paced so smoothly that the viewer barely notices the edits.

Project Overview
• Content is neutral, factual, and informational only
• No propaganda, no political advocacy, no sensationalism
• Clean, professional storytelling is the priority

What I Will Provide
• Full Arabic script (ready and final)
• Clear direction and structured feedback
• Fast responses during the editing process

What You Will Handle
• Sourcing relevant stock and archival footage (mostly historical/news-style)
• Editing and assembling the video in 9:16 vertical format
• Adding a clean, neutral voice-over (AI or human)
• Adding subtle, minimal on-screen text to highlight key facts
• Delivering smooth, professional pacing
(no flashy transitions, no cinematic whip-pans—just purposeful cuts)

Style & Quality
• Clean and professional pacing is the top priority
• Minimal visual effects
• Focus on clarity, flow, and credibility
• The video should feel like a short news or documentary segment

Workflow & Continuity

This project will start with one paid video.
If the quality, workflow, and communication are a good fit, I’m looking to continue with a recurring series of similar videos on a regular basis.

Budget

$50–$70 per video for the initial phase, depending on experience and quality.

Ideal Candidate
• Experienced in documentary, explainer, or news-style editing
• Comfortable working with Arabic scripts
• Good sense of pacing and narrative flow
• Reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented
