True-Crime Bodycam Video Production

Job ID: 40505623

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I’m creating a YouTube series that breaks down real police body-cam incidents in the style of Dr Insanity and EWU Bodycam. I need someone who can handle everything from sourcing compelling archive crime footage to delivering a polished, binge-worthy final cut.

Here’s what the job looks like from my side:

• Footage: You’ll locate or license all archive crime and body-cam material legally cleared for online use, plus any supporting images or clips needed to keep the momentum high.
• Editing: Assemble a 15-20 minute narrative that builds tension naturally, adding lower thirds, call-outs, and subtle sound design so viewers stay hooked until the last frame.
• Voiceover: Record an English narration yourself. I haven’t locked in a tone yet, so show me samples—whether serious and authoritative, calm and narrative, or dramatic and engaging—and we’ll pick what suits each case.
• Psychological analysis: Research each incident and weave concise behavioural insights into the script so the audience gains a deeper understanding of motives without slowing the pace.
• Delivery: Provide a 4K master, a YouTube-ready compressed file, and the editable project files.

Accuracy, respect for sensitive material, and strong storytelling instincts are crucial. If you’ve already produced true-crime or documentary pieces where you handled narration and editing, send over links and outline how you secured the footage. Also let me know your typical turnaround time per episode and anything you need from me to kick off the first case study.
