Spanish Drama Play Voice-Overs
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing an entertainment theatre drama that will tour several Spanish-speaking regions and I need a small ensemble of native-level Spanish voice actors to record cultural-mediation tracks. These tracks will be played through headsets before and after key scenes so audiences who are less familiar with certain historical references can follow the story without breaking the on-stage flow.
What I’ll supply
• The full script flagged with the moments that require mediation
• Character notes, emotional tone guides and pronunciation references
What I need from you
• Clean, studio-quality WAV or AIFF files (48 kHz / 24-bit) recorded on professional gear—Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools or similar are fine as long as the take is noise-free
• Performances that match the dramatic weight of the scene while remaining explanatory, never preachy
• Two alternative reads per line: one neutral Castilian accent, one light Latin American accent, so I can choose what fits each venue
• A short slate at the start of every file identifying the cue code
Acceptance criteria
1. Tone, pacing and emotion align with the dramatic intent specified in my notes.
2. Audio is peak-limited to –3 dBFS with no clipping or room reverb.
3. All files delivered via shared drive, clearly named, within five calendar days of receiving the script.
If you can bring authentic emotion, impeccable diction and quick turnaround, let’s collaborate—I’m keen to send over the first batch of lines right away.
