Nordic Native Voice Recording Project
370 Short Sentences – Mobile Phone Recording (Speedx Recorder)
We are recruiting native speakers of Norwegian (currently priority), Swedish, Danish, or Finnish for a mobile voice recording project.
This task involves recording 370 short sentences (each 5–10 words long).
Recording Method (Important)
All recordings must be made using:
Speedx Recorder (available on Apple App Store)
Requirements:
Use your own mobile phone
Use the built-in microphone only
Record directly inside the Speedx Recorder app
Do NOT use external microphones
Do NOT use studio equipment
Do NOT record on desktop
Do NOT apply noise reduction, compression, EQ, or any post-processing
We are collecting natural mobile-device recordings.
Human voice only. TTS, AI voice generation, or voice cloning is strictly prohibited.
Mandatory Test Recording (5 Sentences)
Before being shortlisted, you must record the following 5 sentences using your own phone via Speedx Recorder.
Please keep the exact file naming format:

Test Sample Requirements:
Natural native pronunciation
Normal speaking speed (not overly slow)
Quiet environment
No background noise
No echo
No clipping or distortion
No audio enhancement or editing
The raw exported files from the app must be submitted.
Full Task Deliverables
If selected, you will receive the full script (370 sentences).
Deliver either:
One separate file per sentence (named 001–370),
OR
One properly segmented master file with accurate sentence boundaries
Additionally:
A short note mentioning any retakes or pronunciation questions
Acceptance Criteria
All 370 sentences recorded
Correct order and completeness
Native-level pronunciation
Clean mobile recording quality
No obvious background noise or artifacts
Peak level not exceeding –3 dBFS
No artificial processing
