Native Konkani Conversation Recordings

I’m running a large-scale language data collection project and need native Konkani speakers to help us capture everyday, natural dialogue. Each participant contributes three separate, 15-minute conversations (total of 45 minutes) recorded on a mobile phone. If you don’t already have a partner, I’ll match you with another speaker so you can record as a pair.

You’ll receive simple step-by-step instructions before you start. The topic of each chat is entirely up to you—family, food, travel, anything that keeps the conversation flowing in authentic Konkani.

Deliverables
• Three audio files per participant, each exactly 15 minutes, recorded in WAV or high-quality MP3.
• Clean, uninterrupted speech with minimal background noise.
• A brief text log noting the date, time, and general topic of each recording.
