I’m putting together a series of independent films and need a reliable partner who can handle two intertwined tasks: a clean, engaging narrative voice-over for full-length features and some next-level polish on the video edits themselves.
Here’s the core of what I’m after. For the voice-over, you’ll deliver a warm, steady narrative tone that carries the story from opening credits to closing crawl. I’m still finalising portions of the script, so I’ll count on you to jump in early, help smooth any rough spots and then record broadcast-quality tracks (noise-free WAV or AIFF, 48 kHz).
On the editing side, think pacing tweaks, seamless scene transitions, colour balance and the sort of audio-to-visual sync that elevates an indie movie without ballooning the budget. I work in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve; if you’re comfortable in those spaces—or can match their output—that’s perfect.
Deliverables
• Final mastered voice-over files for each film, synced to picture
• A fully edited film timeline ready for final export (Premiere or Resolve project + rendered file)
• One short trailer or teaser cut from each film’s footage for online promo
Acceptance criteria
• Voice-over aligns precisely with timecode and maintains consistent loudness levels (-16 LUFS for dialogue)
• All edits render without glitches, dropped frames or audio pops
• Turnaround agreed in advance and honoured despite the tight budget
