# Premium Italian Audiobook Narration Project

We are looking for a **native Italian professional narrator** to record a premium-quality audiobook. The ideal candidate should have experience in long-form narration and be able to deliver engaging, natural, and immersive storytelling while maintaining consistent voice quality throughout the project.

## Responsibilities

* Record the complete audiobook in Italian.
* Maintain consistent narration style, pacing, pronunciation, and audio quality.
* Deliver broadcast-quality raw audio files.
* Meet agreed deadlines and communicate progress throughout the project.

## Audition Requirements

Applicants must submit recordings of all **four audition scripts** provided after applying. The audition will evaluate:

* Story narration
* Character dialogue
* Emotional expression
* Scene transitions
* Dramatic storytelling

## Narration Style

Your narration should demonstrate:

* Natural and immersive storytelling
* Clear pronunciation using standard Italian
* Warm, conversational delivery
* Smooth pacing with natural pauses
* Appropriate emotional expression
* Subtle distinction between narration and character dialogue through tone rather than exaggerated voices

Please avoid:

* Robotic or AI-like delivery
* Newsreader or announcer style
* Overly dramatic acting
* Monotone narration
* Abrupt voice changes

## Recording Requirements

* Professional recording studio or broadcast-quality home studio
* Same recording setup throughout the project

* Raw, unprocessed audio

## Audio Quality

Recordings must:

* Be recorded in a quiet environment
* Have no background noise
* Have no clipping or distortion
* Maintain consistent volume
* Be free from excessive mouth clicks, pops, and handling noise

## Submission Requirements

Please include:

* Four audition recordings (submitted as separate WAV files)
* Microphone model
* Audio interface (if applicable)
* Recording software (DAW)
* Brief description of your recording environment

## Contract Details

* Contract Type: Hourly
* Hourly Rate: **USD $15/hour**
* Estimated Budget: **Up to USD $150 per participant**, depending on approved work.
