Intense Teen Character Voiceover

An upcoming animated short centers on a brooding, teen-aged hero who carries the weight of his world on his shoulders. To make that story land, I need a voice that can sound serious and intense while still feeling unmistakably youthful—think late-night anime rather than Saturday-morning cartoon.

The script runs just under 800 words (about five minutes of finished audio). I’ll provide the final locked script, reference art, and a short animatic so you can match timing and emotional beats. Record in a quiet space with a pro-grade mic, deliver 48 kHz, 24-bit WAV files, and leave a few seconds of natural room tone at the head for noise-print.

Deliverables
• One raw, unprocessed master WAV
• One lightly processed take (de-noised, leveled) that slots straight onto the timeline
• Up to two rounds of pickups for wording tweaks or emotional adjustments, turned around within 48 hours

Performance direction will be shared in a live video call before you hit record, so we’re both clear on cadence, intensity, and pacing. Once I drop your voice into the animatic, final acceptance happens when sync is tight and the performance sells the character’s inner conflict.
