German Outdoor Voice Recording Project
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m putting together a collection of short German voice clips captured in real-world settings and I’m looking for native speakers who can help. You’ll work from simple, and record it on your smartphone—either an iPhone or any Android device is fine.
All recordings must be made outdoors in public places so natural background sounds such as street traffic, café chatter, or restaurant ambience are clearly audible. Each clip is just one sentence and should take only a few seconds; at a steady pace you can comfortably create 20 or more recordings per hour.
I pay $0.80 for every usable file. There’s no requirement for previous voice-over experience; as long as you’re a native German speaker and can follow the guidelines I provide, you’re all set.
