We are seeking native Italian speakers to participate in a conversational data collection project aimed at enhancing AI technology. This role involves recording natural, topic-based conversations using the Funcrowd app.
What You’ll Do
Work in Pairs:
This project requires two people. You and your partner will engage in free-flowing conversations on provided topics.
Conversation Requirements:
Topic Duration: Discuss each topic for 20 minutes. Seven topics in total will be provided.
Natural Flow: Ensure a smooth, natural conversation without long pauses.
Recording Guidelines:
Main Speaker: Identify the main speaker in each conversation.
Stay Active: Keep the app open, and avoid locking your screen during recording, as this will end the session.
Separate Rooms: Avoid using speakerphone, and have each participant in a different room.
Environment Setup:
Quiet Setting: Record in a quiet space to ensure clear audio.
Microphone Position: Hold the phone as if making a call, with the microphone close to your mouth.
Consistency: Record all conversations in the same environment, without changing participants.
Content Requirements:
Starting Phrase: Begin each recording by saying, “magicdata sound recording.”
Flow: Maintain a steady conversation, keeping silent gaps under two minutes.
Session Length: Each session should be a minimum of 20 minutes.
Avoid Sensitive Topics: Do not discuss politics, religion, or other sensitive matters.
Suggested Topics:
Everyday themes like finance, education, health, entertainment, current events, technology, art, relationships, and personal experiences.
